Why For You Bury Me In The Cold, Cold Snow?*

And then, just when it was looking so pretty - just before dawn - cover it with freezing rain so that now all I have is a slushy mess and no power...again. Sigh.

* From Bugs Bunny cartoon? Can't remember and don't have enough battery left to go look it up.

Sounds like you got the same weather that we did. It was pretty snow when I went to bed, but when I got up the ice and rain had set in. It is still doing the freezing rain here. Hope you are able to stay warm and that the power will come on and stay on for you.

Oh Sara, not again! I remember dealing with power outages alot when I lived in your part of the country. Thank goodness we've been able to stay electrified here. I hope you have a woodstove or a fireplace. Stay warm.

Just bring in all the sheepies and they'll keep you warm!

I know this is an older post, but the title caught my eye--and yes, it is an old Bugs Bunny line from his friend, the Tasmanian Devil--"Why for you bury me in the cold, cold ground?"...lol, fond childhood memories!

Great blog, glad to have stumbled upon it!
