Rebecca Boone

It's all there!

And here she is. She came already named Rebecca Boone, in honor of Daniel Boone's wife and her frontier trip to Kentucky.

"They told me it was going to be warm here!"

Rebecca Boone, Ewen McTeagle and Buddy

If she looks a bit familiar, it might be because you've already seen her fleece.

do the other sheep just accept her or do they have to initiate her into the flock or anything?

Good question! I normally quarantine any new animals, but since she would have been stuck by herself in the cold and she came from a very trusted farm, I went ahead and put Woolliam and Petunia with her (they had been together as babies in the spring) the first night and added Ewen, Boudreaux and Buddy late the next day. I will wait awhile before introducing her to the Jacobs, who can be a little tougher on newcomers.

She's gorgeous! (and has such a sweet face) and your wheel is beautiful, too. I'd say you had a pretty productive trip
