Hoppin' Mad

Well, not really, but pretty darn hoppy! You know how when you give your dog a bath and they are finally finished, how they like to race around the house or yard? I guess to celebrate living through it? Turns out, sheep do the same thing.

I decided to give Keebler a bath today. He'd gotten rained on, didn't smell as "sweet" as baby lambs do, and since he was already wet...

Why did you do that to me?

Really?

Since we're all about the fiber here (never for meat!), let's take a closer look (as always, click to biggify).

Pretty yummy, eh?

Does that last comment mean you're a vegetarian, too? Or just that you don't eat the animals you know?

If possible, Keebler is even more adorable after a bath than he was before. Be still my heart! (Fitting that my word verification is "edens" :-)

We're vegetarians. Not rabid/in your face..., just a personal choice.

Same here! We did find it hard to eat out in Kentucky; there didn't seem to a lot of choices for veggies.... Wait; I remember this conversation! I told you we ate at Alfalfa's in Lexington. Brain cells; they're not what they used to be....

No worries. When you come in for WEG, I'll hook you up with several fun choices :-D

Well, the thing I noticed the most about the bath photos is Keebler is NOT SMILING!

Dana and Daisy said...

that is a very scornful glance he is sending you isn't it?

Hahaha! You're right, he's not smiling where he usually is! omg, that's funny, he is just a doll!

Oh, Keebs, I'm so sorry about your bath. You do look pretty handsome, though, so hang in there.
A hug from your Auntie Pam.

His wool coat looks much fluffier. What do you use other than water on his coat? Was this his first baby bath?

Vegetarians unite! and save us from all this swine and bird flu.

Oh the Yarns that kid will tell someday...:-)

Oh, that's really baaaad.

But Joanna, you can't get swine flu from eating the beast, and even in a vegetarian society pigs could perform the function they do best - garbage disposal.

Oh, he is just darling, wet and mad, or dry and smiling!

Keebler is such a fluff ball :-)

Keebler seems like a gorgeous toy, he looks so perfect. I noticed in the middle picture, I can see his skin is mottled on his face, but his wool doesn't follow suit. He has a front knee and a hind leg which produce coloured wool. I find that fascinating.

My verification word is dowsogi. Keebler was dows-ed until he was sogi. ; )
