We all took a little nap together though and Keebler got to keep the number one profile spot and when he woke up, he thought he'd maybe give the new lamb a chance.
"I guess there's enough grass out here for both of us."
"But I still think he's kinda stupid 'cause he wants to sleep on scratchy and pokey ole hay."
This little (BIG) two week old lamb is 3/4 Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) and 1/4 Romney. He came from a very nice fiber farm, Tanglewood (beautiful blog), in Versailles, Kentucky, and I've been looking forward to getting one of Dianne's special sheep for a couple years. I took this lamb sight unseen and was so surprised to see that he too has brown feet like Keebler and has brown ears to match Keebler's brown leg.
I think they'll be good brothers ;-).

I was hoping we might get a peek at Keeblers new buddy. Graham is beautiful with strikingly different facial features than Keebler and Wooliam! You sure are going to be busy with feedings tonight! Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
I'm so glad Keebler has decided to let Graham stay the night! (And it's just as well Graham prefers the bed of hay...Keebler might not want to share his blankie!) I know Graham will be happy he's landed in such a special place. Thanks for giving my little boy a wonderful home.

So cute!! I'm sure Keebler needed a friend even he didn't want to admit it at first...they look so content together...love the napping shot on your lap...what a nice way to spend nap time!

Graham is so BIG! They are so cute. I am sure Keebler will always be the big brother though, he is so much older and wiser!

aren't they sweet together? I am amazed how docile your lambs are. Is it because you socialize them with humans so early?
It makes me want to be a sheep farmer too!
Aren't you just the best MOM! Those are some really cute lambs. Learning to share is hard (but necessary, Keebler, you will be a better lamb/sheep for it) :)

Oh my gosh, Graham is such a cutie as well. I hope Keebs isn't too jealous. :)
Those lambs are adorable. I'm an American city boy living in rural New Zealand, and while we don't have our own sheep, we lease the paddocks to a stock agent who runs sheep on the property. It's great to see the sheep in the paddocks. They're lambing now and the little lambs are gorgeous to watch.
