Jane, Stella and I extracted 21 pounds of honey from our oldest hive yesterday.
Golden stained glass honey in the sunlight.
A tiny cluster of uncapped honey in a bottom corner of one frame. The bees don't cap (cover with wax) each honey cell until the moisture content is just right. They fan it with their wings to evaporate the excess water.
Good to the last drop.
I'm not sure these are actually macro shots, just close ups. Or maybe that's the same thing. Still learning...

You asked about the flower on my Macro post, it is the flower off my Mimosa tree. We call it our Dr Seuss tree, it gets loaded with these funny pink flowers..
