Another Who Does This Look Like?

It's just uncanny!

Happy Keebler.

Thoughtful (but happy) Keebler.

Sad Keebler? Oh no!

Maybe that's why his head is always tilted. Because he's always happy. I hope he's always happy. Well, there was this one time... And, go look, his face wasn't tilted!

I'm telling you. I could be a sheep psychic....or just psycho.

This mug was a tag sale find from my friend Charlotte. Who can find anything. And most likely under $1.00.

Thanks, Charlotte! I always love your goody bags :-). Even the bag had a sheep on it. And it was also under $1.00!

Charlotte is also a very talented rug weaver. I love this picture from her booth at the Kentucky Wool Festival. Every rug is tagged with "I used to be..." and she can take the weirdest recycled material, pair it with the perfect warp (strings going up and down) colors and turn it into fully functional, beautiful piece of art.

It's just uncanny!

I've even been known to weave up feed sacks and bread wrappers on a cotton warp...but then we weavers/spinners are warpped people anyway. wocka-wocka-wocka
Keebler is lucky to have a shepherdess as loving as you are. It works both ways, ya know. :)

I just caught up with everything! Loved every post. Your sheep are gorgeous and your studio is a dream. The dog has really grown...does he always stay with the sheep, or is there family time? You are BUSY.

That mug surely had your name on it at the Tag Sale. I agree with you that each Charlotte's rugs are one of a kind. The tags describing another life and purpose are as intriguing as the rug she created. She is a treasure to find as a friend, to be sure.

What a perfect mug.

I love Charlotte's rugs. Just 1 problem..... they don't wear out! :) They look good as new even after a trip in the washer. How many rugs can you say that about? Says a lot about the quality of them. :) I just love Charlotte!
