Frog Pond Flowers

The one thing I do like about this time of year is the flower show back at the Frog Pond.

Even the invasive exotics - shhh ;-).

All the Kentucky native plants and flowers on our barn quilt can be found back at the pond. Also the Kentucky state butterfly, honey bees...and of, course, frogs.

We had a beautiful cool morning. I hope everyone got to enjoy a little break.

Lovely! Oddly I haven't seen many sunflowers this year around here. What is the invasive umbel?

Something in the cool air this morning here in South Carolina is different. You can feel a hint of late Summer/early Fall in it.
Love it! Your Pond is amazing...can you email it to me?
heheh Happy Sunday!
