Something New

The Sunday Stills challenge for this week is our Best Shot of 2010. As I scrolled back through the year I decided I finally had enough decent pictures to try putting together a farm calendar. As always it was a learning experience, but I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

Back cover.

Sample inside.

One of my favorite pictures of Buddy and Woolliam.

We couldn't make a calendar without little Sunshine.

Another old friend tucked in there.

And for fun we added some special dates.

*Note: I did not take the shot of Punkin (above right). My friend Julie took that picture years ago and it will always be my all-time favorite.

Check back for a giveaway tomorrow!

From what I can see a composition of beautiful photos, expertly printed I might add. Pictures taken of things we long to see everyday!

A must have!!!!

Oh, Sara! It's beautiful! May I ask where you had it done? I love the 'no-bleed' photos and the little ones included on the dated page.

I also like the little pictures you have on days that don't belong to the month. I so wish I'd played today!

That's awesome, I really should make a calendar of my own someday.

MUST. HAVE.

How do I order one? And can you please come to our farm about once a month to do a photo shoot? This is exactly what I want to do, and have no camera skills to get it done.

Just wonderful! It will be a great sheepie year! I've often wished you had a calendar. How do we order them?

Tim and I did that ourselves using Microsoft Publisher. I designed it and he tweaked it and printed it. He always makes me look good :-).

I'm really flattered by all the requests to order. Tim's going to print some more and I guess I'll put them in my etsy shop? Need to check on postage...

Thanks everyone!

I enjoy so much doing a 'farm' calendar every year. Yours has turned out great. What software did you use! I like it better than what I have been doing.
