Sunday Stills - Spring Preview

I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m sick of no color to photograph in winter. So with that let's dig into the archives for this week and lets see some color from previous springs and summers to warm us up a bit, more color and warmth the better. :-)

As a strong (and solo) defender of wintertime, I was struck by the thought that if you have to dive into your archives to find color and beauty, then maybe you might be missing some things.

Pussy willows starting to bud out.

A new leaf unfolding.

Baby pine cones! Click to biggify.

A delicate flower facing a southwestern window.

Green upon green upon green.

Bright red just outside the window.

And brown. Yes, brown is a color. And a beautiful color at that.

So there ;-).

Have to say I like winter, and spring, fall and summer I love living where we have 4 true seasons :)

Great shots. I love four seasons as well, that's why we moved here from Texas, but enough is enough! I'm ready for warmer weather, just not hot!! :)

Oh how I love your Sunday stills!

Sometimes it is uncanny how I have the same photos uploading, and other times I am in blissful awe at the beauty that you find in the simple things. My favorite.

I adore you~

All beautiful. Love the perspective on the pussy willow branch. The brightest color around here lately is the bluejays hogging down the sunflower seeds. Thanks for the morale boost.

Love your take on this challenge. I love pussy willows, one of my favorite things about spring. Love the cardinal too, we don't get them here either. Lucky you!

oh, you have spring birds already! We are having some unseasonably warm weather, so maybe I'll start seeing some buds and birds, too.
