Sadly it's not Lila. She's doing fine though, away at Miss Ewenice's Finishing School.
As you can see, I completely missed painting under the stairs and have already trashed the place. I'm going with the flowers and sheep planter are so pretty that no one would ever notice...except for the fact that I just pointed it out.
Another sheep on the porch - some Clun Forest I'm spinning for one of our neighbors. Fun sproingy yarn.
This picture is included not to give Hansen Crafts a plug (although I can fully recommend the miniSpinner for sure :-), but to show the freshly painted swing that I love to use (especially in the afternoon light) to photograph yarns, felted sheep, lazy cats...but has been so grungy looking lately that I just. couldn't. do. it.

And some BRIGHT RED (leftover paint from the wool house doors). The jury's still out on this, well sort of. Saint Tim likes the look. I'm just going to go back to my white chair and spin some white or light gray or medium gray or dark gray wool ;-).

It all looks great....and I like the red benches, too! Now you can sit and spin for the rest of the summer on your spiffy porch. Good job!
Wow! You did a wonderful job - I didn't realize it was such a BIG porch! Now you can sit back and enjoy the fruits of your efforts. Glad Lila has such a kind mentor.
It all looks bright-shiny new! Lovely job; I never would have noticed under the stairs.... :-)
That porch is as cozy as it looks and my favorite place to be when I visit. The trees near by provide a warm breeze and the birds perched within sing a cacophony of tunes to welcome you home. The new paint job looks great and well worth the staunch effort.

I'm waiting for the "screened in" part so we can play spades on the porch as well. Looks great, can't wait to spill a drink on it. Just kidding. Maybe just block the shawl on it. Oh, that's right. The condo is gone for the season. Looking forward to spending some MORE time with you guys.
I think it all came out looking great. And, I like the red benches. Although, I would like them too if they were grey. lol. I know, I'm not helping.

What a wonderful job you 2 did! The pictures are so pretty they can't really convey the crapload of work it took to get there. LOVE the sheep planter. By her expression she's thinking "Why for have you planted flowers on my back? Wool isn't enough??"

The porch looks great. It was worth all that work, wasn't it? I would just love to have one of those mini spinners but I have two wheels already so I think I best not get another one.

I really love the red benches. A nice cheery splash of intensity on the clean white porch - well done.
One of these days I intend to acquire a mini spinner. But I must wait.
