Making Lemonade

We had a lot of ice damage last week, mostly to our pretty pine trees. I carried a few small branches into the barn lot yesterday and they were stripped bare this morning, so I brought over some more.  While I'd rather not have the branches down, at least the sheep can enjoy having a pine tree party :-).

After the Pine Tree Party, they had a Steal The Hay From The Horses Party.  Everyone seems to have called a truce out there and they now all eat side by side.  Oddly.  Even Hank seems resigned to letting this go on.  I must have missed that barn meeting.  

Someone asked yesterday if Maisie and Hershey were the same size.  That the two of them on the far left and Chocula is to her right.  So, even though they are her "younger brothers", they are still her "big brothers". 

Speaking of good brothers, look at Chocula and Daniel.  As soon as there's a hint of trouble (Hank coming too close ;-), they are immediately side by side.  This picture was taken just seconds after the one above where they were on separate sides of the hay mob.  They are side by side in the first picture as well.
