With a title like that, I could go just about anywhere. And there are days...
I had a special order for another Hampshire sheep and finished him the other day. I was looking for somewhere different to take some pictures and placed him on the window ledge, facing me, thinking the sheep in the background might add a nice touch. Then, the 12 year old in me turned him to the outside and imagined him wishing he could go out and play with those sheep.
"Why not? Why can't I go out and play?"
Hmmm - can't figure out why he has the exact same voice as Keebler ;-).
When I make these sheep, even if I tried, no two would be quite the same. I wanted this one to be enough different from the ASI Annual Meeting sheep that they could be related, but definitely not the same sheep. To do that, I decided to try and face his head the opposite direction. The head tilt just happened and bingo, his personality shines through.
I am apparently the only person in the country who is enjoying this weather. I just love snow. I love to look at snow, play in snow, work in snow, take pictures in snow, track animals in snow... I could do snow all winter. I am sad when it all melts away. Even if it went from snow to green grass and no mud I'd still be sad.
I have to admit though that there are times that I think maybe it wouldn't be so bad to stay inside by the fire all day and not have to get bundled up to go out and feed.
"Huh?!?"
How could Heidi hear me say that?
I like the window reflection. He still looks a little sad though about not going out with the big sheep.
I guess the hay does look pretty yummy.

He is a felted sheep full of feeling, a wonderful creation for the Valentines season. Once again, you make what your heart truly loves. He has many relatives in Ohio if he would like to stop and visit :-)
The sheep is certainly well made. At first I thought it was a real sheep.
Another beautiful example of your talents! Are these for sale? The photos worked so well with the fence and sheep in the background.

I love the pictures and your SNOW!!! I turn into a little kid when it snows and we haven't had any this year - very sad. Your felted sheep are just beautiful.
I love the snow, too.
I suppose I might not, if we'd had 36" in the last week or so, rather than the 10" we actually had, but I love winter.

Wonderful sheep! I too, thought it was real at first.. then realized it was standing on your window sill :)
