I'm going to go and buy this color of cactus.. I have a white one and it's pretty but not like the one you have. I love it when it blooms.. I try and plan January for mine to bloom that way I have a flower blooming in the middle of winter. Great pictures.. your new camera is doing great~!~! Your gorgeous photos remind me that I have forgotten to water my Christmas Cactus -for a very long time. They like a bit of neglect, but seriously, I'm pushing it into the realm of abuse, the poor thing. Here amidst the PNW's gray and dismal weather I so appreciate all color and beauty. Thanks so much for sharing.
Beautiful photos! I don't have a Christmas cactus anymore, but my little poinsettia is starting to get red leaves already. The big one prefers to wait until after Christmas.

Your Christmas cactus photos are stunning and sure to uplift the spirits on this grey, rainy day. Even Homer would agree ;-)
My Gram had a large older Christmas cactus..boy did it have a ton of blooms. Seeing yours reminds me of it and I must find one and buy it!
