Just some random shots from Kathy's this past weekend. Now that it's almost Thursday... I've been a little occupied ;-).
Brick - guard dog puppy in training and already a star.
Zee - the old guard. Another good one.
Everyone resting up for a long night's work. Brick is just off to the left. With his lip smushed up on his paw.
Good guard dogs are so important.
A good babysitter always helps too. These lambs do not all belong to this ewe. In fact there are two more just off to the right. I've heard of cows taking turns watching babies, but didn't know sheep did as well.
Lots of green grass doesn't hurt either.
And room to run.
And if you aren't quite ready to join the lamb races while all the mommas eat dinner, that's okay too.

Looks like things are under control!
This is a good capture of the farm version of "it takes a village".....to raise a lamb.
Adorable! Those guards are doing a good job.
What beautiful farm animals you have...that little lamb is adorable.

That is a serious amount of grass! Our ground is just showing a hint of green...and had a little dusting of snow on it this morning. sigh.
Sara...were the videos taken at your farm? What a set up.
All the green grass is so beautiful. We have over a month before Daisy will be able to find a green shoot. The dogs are adorable workers.
The mama sheep is so beautiful watching over the babies. And the bounding lamb is adorable!
Oh my gosh. All. That. Grass. It's 36 and spitting snow here. My girls would be soooo happy to have that now.
You really captured the essence of spring with the little lambie photo!
