Can you believe how green our grass is? On the 9th day of November?!?
It's pretty, but having springtime green with a hard fall freeze several mornings is dangerous. I never thought I be looking forward to seeing our pastures go dormant. The way we are going though, that might still be a long way off.

It looks like that here too, green lawn- we mowed last week- and although the maples have shed their leaves, the willow trees right behind them are still green.
Does that mean Hickory has been getting regular work? Do tell!

While Hickory might not get the adventure he desires, the sheep have plenty of yummy grass for their tummy’s and that means not getting into the hay supply so early. Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch?

I just noticed I have a lilac bush budding leaves. What the heck is going on with all this crazy weather? I'm ready for some normal.

Great shot, I'm in Columbus Ohio for a few days and the grass is still green up here too..:-)
Our grass has just begun to brown off... after three snow storms and evening temps below 32 this week.
