Lamb Camp North

Well, I took a ton of photographs at Nistock Farms, but didn't get as many great shots as I'd hoped.

Lighting in their barn is quite a challenge, with natural light, fluorescent light, incandescent light and frequently a combination of all three.  I've been practicing shooting in manual mode and that really helped, but I've still got a lot to learn.

This picture, however, made the whole trip worthwhile.  I love this - the colors, the lighting, the composition, the textures, the sharpness of the grey ewe's eye. I got it right :-).

It would be have been hard to take a bad picture of this cutie.

Between snow showers, the sun really helped brighten things up.

What about this sweet momma and baby?

Or this one?

I'll end today's post with a video.  Two versions - short (converted to black and white) and long (bizarre orange color).  Sorry the color is so off.  The lambs were leaping and I just started shooting, not wanting to miss it.  More practice, think faster...but still cute.

I've got some bottle lambs pictures for tomorrow.  And yes, some of Fortune ;-).
