Saturday Feature - An Afternoon Off

Some good friends came in town to go to the races and I took the afternoon off to join them. Now I'm not a huge fan of racing those too young horses, but even the biggest cynic has to admit there is something special about Keeneland.

In the paddock.

I like the turf races best.

Hi, I found your blog through your comment on Clinch Mountain's blog. I have a tiny breeding flock of Shetland sheep, along with horses, chickens, barn cat, Australian Shepherd, son and husband. We were in Kentucky last November for a conference and visited Keeneland; gorgeous place! Can't wait to browse your blog more; I'm adding it to the list of blogs I follow.

That was one of the funniest things I've seen (Clinch Mtn). I just love browsing through Nancy's list, and your list and Clinch Mtn's list... You all do a good job! :-)
