Watch Out Aqua!

"Look - coming through the field!"

Uh oh - the barn skunk. While I'm fairly used to seeing him/her, this is Saint Tim's first sighting. He was mildly alarmed until I told him this was the time of night he/she was always out. So far, so good - we stay out of each others way...

Oh NO - watch out Handy!

While the lens I was using (in the fading light) really compresses everything front to back, it does not affect the side to side. The barn skunk is really that close.

The aqua reference is one of Saint Tim's favorite sayings. Any time I'm getting ready to do something stupid or dangerous, I get a "watch out Aqua." Does anyone recognize this?

What do you suppose the skunk was looking for that it couldn't get in the barn? Was it taking a leisurely stroll? i love that tail sticking up over the grass! And so what's "the rest of the story...?"
I can't figure out the Watch Out Aqua warning... maybe a SpongeBob phrase?

Okay - a hint. It would be a memory from your childhood. And pretty much only those up north would maybe know.

City Boy says it was a kids t.v. show about a clown named Aqua and whenever anything bad is about to happen to the clown, they shout, "Look out, Aqua!"

I'm very fond of skunks. I have them in my yard every night and enjoy sitting out to watch them. It's funny how people think all skunks want to do is spray them. Kind of like how they think all bees want to do is sting them...
