2011 National Hug A Sheep Day

20 here. TheCrazySheepLady is really busy trying to get ready for the Wool Festival this weekend so she asked if I could update everyone on the 2nd annual National Hug A Sheep Day. I love getting hugs, so I'm happy to help!

I wasn't here last year, but apparently there was a big farm party. Everyone Graham Lamb can't stop talking about it. He was the star I guess? Anyway, Hug A Sheep Day is October 29th this year - the last Saturday in October.

We're going to have an open farm day here again (more details to come) and it sounds like farms all over the country and even up in Canada are going to join in again too. I'll update the National Hug A Sheep Day blog so everyone can list their event and maybe you can find a Hug A Sheep (or sheep yarn ;-) Party in your area.

I'm also going to be at the Wool Festival this weekend if anyone wants to come out and give me a hug. You might need some practice or something ;-).

#29 here. Can I come to Hug A Sheep Day? Things are getting a little better around here-I'll update you soon, but things are looking up. I think Pam would give me the day off and let me ride out with her.

Wow #20,
For a sheep with a head full of fluffy you are quite talented with the internet, baa-lingual and all. Can’t wait to see you for an early hug at the Wool Festival.

Gosh, there are no sheep to hug in these parts! So #20, I'll send you a (((hug))).

Have a great time. I'm jealous. I wish I could go. We are heading to Brown County State Park for a couple of days and staying in a cabin. I'll stop by Sheep Street FIbers and hug a sheep...and buy some wool :-)
