Happy Baa-loween!

This awesome shot was taken by neighbor Jennifer Giles at the pumpkin carving party last week.

It's B. Willard. Remember his pumpkin from last year?

We had farm-wide tricks or treats this afternoon. Even Claire Bear made a rare appearance, drawn out by some kitty treats.

Probably only corgi owners will find this "temptations" picture funny ;-).

Normally Stella and I dress up some poor unsuspecting sheep for Halloween. This year we just couldn't get our great idea pulled together. That was okay. Hickory set himself up for needing a costume this year. He's dressed up as a sheep, in hopes maybe Hank will start to like him.

"Um, Hickory, if you don't quit chasing his sheep around, you're going to need more than a lamb's ear head band to help you out."

"Don't care. Give me the treats!"

I could only get two quick shots off before he started ravaging that poor unsuspecting sheep basket.

The cat treats were instantly tossed aside. As were the dog biscuits after he tasted them and the pretty red apple. Turns out he's a cookie monster.

"Hickory, I have a feeling that eating all the sheep's treats probably isn't helping your cause any."

I hope you are able to show a bit more restraint digging into your trick or treat loot ;-).

Happy Baa-loween!

I’ll bet Pottery Barn never imagined their Lamb Trick or Treat bag could look so cute without it being on the arm of a toddler. Your farm friends look as though they have been through this before as they knew just what to do! Next year just fill it with Graham Stix and ‘Nilla Wafers!

IN-CRED-I-BLE shot of the pumpkins indeed!! The glow of the pumpkins, the star in the sky - WOW!

Hickory sorting through, then eating the cookies in the sheep treat basket - too funny!! VERY handsome head - sheepy ears and all!

Fortunately, he's at the right farm for being a cookie monster!

That first shot is amazing! Of course I can't resist the Hickory photos. He has made himself right at home.

Is that cat as seriously big as that Corgi or is that an optical illusion?

Who is Claire Bear? Why haven't I heard of her before? Brushy(RIP), Comby, Betsy, Eli, Wee Wee - I thought that was the whole kit and kaboodle!?

Your pumpkin carving is awesome even without a light in it. Wish it could last fotever.

LOVE the pumpkin shots. I"m sure everyone appreciated the treats with no tricks (like being caught for hoof trimming or shots!). Hickory is fitting right in as being discriminating about his treats.

You have the most daily fun with animals of anyone I read.

What a fun post! I enjoyed going back and seeing your table set for two! How funny!
I am hoping my animals did not read your post. They didn't get treats. I guess I was remiss!

The close-up shot of the carved pumpkin with the Hamm's beer can in the background proves it is Equinox farm, no doubt. What, no one wore the "sun" ? Hickory is a good sport. I guess it's jump in (the fun) and swim!
