I have several days worth of pictures to share, but I'm starting with the pictures everyone keeps asking about - the little girl hugging Boudreaux :-D.
There were a bunch of cute, cute kids who braved the cold yesterday, but this one...I didn't even get good pictures of her because I was having so much fun watching her wade right in and go to hugging. And her favorite sheep? Boudreaux.
At first he was a bit confused. This was his first time in the hugging pen and up until she got there, mostly what was happening was strangers were walking up and feeding him cookies and crackers.
"Yup, I'm good with that. This is pretty fun. I like Hug a Sheep Day. Oh my goodness, that little kid just walked right up and hugged me!"
Bless his heart, he was as sweet a sheep as there ever was. I was so proud of him.
And when she finally moved on (temporarily) to another sheep, I think he got his feelings a little hurt.
"She loves me just for being me! She doesn't tell me I'm too fat or have too much straw stuck in my hair. Why'd she want to go hug Keebler?"
Keebs? Is that you being uncharacteristically sweet too???
And Graham . . . "Hey, you eating something???"
We had a great afternoon. The weather, once again, could have been better, but I guess that's farm life, eh? Lots and lots of great knits. Lots and lots of fun folks. Lots and lots of cookies. Lots and lots of pictures. More tomorrow!
