Scenes From The Trail

We started on the back porch, but quickly got too hot and had to move to a shade tree.  Seriously.

Our "camp".

The kids made a snow sheep and stayed busy with that most of the afternoon, so I was able to get six rows of knitting done.

Why, yes, it does look like a big fat possum is sitting on my knitting.  Eli.

Apparently sleeping in a heated cat condo and getting up only to walk two steps to your food bowl all winter isn't a great fitness program.  Who knew...

Probably the last snow shot for this year's Iknitarod...although we might get lucky and get a little snow next week.  I'll take it!

Would like to get four more rows added tonight, but I might have to take my eight hour layover.  The late nights are adding up.
