After such a warm afternoon yesterday, I resigned myself to the inevitable. Winter was over. I realize most everyone dreams of winter's demise and longs for green grass, gardens, sunglasses, shorts... Not me. There's not much that makes me happier than waking up to a cold, snowy morning. The unexpected snow this morning was just icing on the Iditarod/Iknitarod cake.
Saint Tim falls in the green grass and shorts camp but agreed to go out and take some sweater pictures while I fed this morning. I carried a few flakes of hay outside in hopes a few sheep would play along for a few minutes and about half did.
Woolliam decided pretty quickly that this was "really stupid" and headed back to bed. And that was about the end of the shoot ;-).

Perfect. I'm sure that sweater will be a lifelong friend, I think it's beautiful. One of my favorite things is to wander among my sheep, so I know the peace it brings.
Your sweater is outstanding...
Terry is of the same camp as you...bring on winter...as you know I detest winter.

Your sweater is amazing! My daughter just finished making the same sweater, isn't it lovely? Sadly, her mother (that would be ME, lol) did not have enough handspun yarn for her to make it from and she had to use good old Cascade 220 ;D
